With deep roots in artistic tradition, Poligraph USA is well versed in the development of graphics and textures used to produce ceramic tile. We specialize in 3D laser scanning of textures and creating 3D models to engrave various materials on our CNC Routers.
Poligraph USA specializes in engraving aluminum matrices for the ceramic industry. Our expert team utilizes state-of-the-art technology and precision techniques to create high-quality matrices that meet the unique needs of ceramic manufacturers. Aluminum matrices play a crucial role in the ceramic tile production process. The matrices are used as masters to create punches for pressing tile. Our engraving process ensures that each matrix is meticulously crafted, resulting in exceptional detail and accuracy. We use 3D laser scanning to capture the texture of various surfaces to be recreated using CNC engraving. This advanced technology allows us to faithfully preserve the unique characteristics of any surface and accurately transfer them onto the desired material. Using non-contact 3D laser scanning, we capture a high-resolution digital image of the desired textures. This image is then processed with specialized software, which generates a three-dimensional digital model of the surface. This model contains all the details, including reliefs, grooves, and shading that make the texture authentic and realistic. Once we have obtained the digital model, we use it to program our CNC engraving system. The CNC machine uses the model data to guide the engraving process with extreme precision on the desired surface.

The CNC routing process begins with digital design files, which are converted into machine-readable instructions. We specialize in working in aluminum for tile matrices and plastic for mosaic templates.
We have the capability to produce several types of master molds and punches for conventional dry pressing or RAM pressing.
Using polycarbonate templates can streamline the process of creating ceramic tile mosaics, ensuring consistency and accuracy in tile placement. It allows for the efficient production of mosaics with intricate designs and various tile sizes.
Plasma cutters are equipped with CNC controls, which allow precise control over the cutting process. The machine reads instructions from a computer program (CAD file) and translates them into cutting paths, enabling us to cut accurate and intricate designs from metal. Our plasma CNC can effectively cut a wide range of metals, including mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, and more. The machine's cutting parameters can be adjusted based on the specific properties and thickness of the metal being cut.
Cleaning digital print heads helps maintain optimal print quality. Over time, print heads can become clogged or blocked by dried ink, debris, or contaminants. Regular cleaning ensures that the print heads deliver accurate and consistent ink deposition, resulting in sharp, vibrant, and high-resolution prints.
